主要学术成绩,创新点及其科学意义
 
1. 建立了一种敏感的,适用于日常临床实验室分析的红细胞内肌酸测定法(Jiao YF, Okumiya T, Saibara T, et al. An enzymatic assay for erythrocyte creatine as an index of the erythrocyte life time. Clin Biochem. 1998;31:59-65.)。使用这个方法,我们分析并证实了红细胞内肌酸可作为因红细胞寿命缩短(如溶血性贫血)而引起的HbA1c减少的一个用效的矫正指标(Jiao YF, Okumiya T, Saibara T, et al. Abnormally decreased HbA1c can be assessed with erythrocyte creatine in patients with a shortened erythrocyte age. Diabetes Care. 1998;21(10):1732-5.)。我们也证实,在有肝硬化病人,红细胞内肌酸可以预示造血状态和估计脾机能亢进(Jiao YF, Okumiya T, Saibara T, et al. Erythrocyte creatine as a marker of excessive erythrocyte destruction due to hypersplenism in patients with liver cirrhosis. Clin Biochem. 2001;34:395-8.)。
2. 在世界上首次报告了乳腺导管内乳头状瘤的皮脂腺化生。这项研究证实乳腺一种新的化生类型(Jiao YF, Nakamura S, Oikawa T, et al. Sebaceous gland metaplasia in intraductal papilloma of the breast. Virchows Arch. 2001;438:505-8.)。
3. 用腺管分离法分析了大样本胃癌流式细胞DNA 倍体类型与临床病理学表现的关系,我们的结果提示,和DNA 倍体类型相比,S-phase fraction可作为判定胃癌侵袭性的有效的指标(Jiao YF, Sugai T, Suzuki M, et al. Application of the crypt isolation technique to the flow cytometric analysis of DNA content in gastric carcinoma. Hum Pathol. 2004;35:587-93.)。
4. 用腺管分离法结合分子生物学的方法分析了胃癌的杂和性丢失(LOH)及微卫星不稳定性(MSI)。结果提示,腺管分离法是准确测定胃癌LOH的非常有效的方法,LOH和MSI常发生于肠型和实体型胃癌而少见于未分化型胃癌(Jiao YF, Sugai T, Habano W, et al. Analysis of microsatellite alterations in gastric carcinoma using the crypt isolation technique. J Pathol. 2004;204:200-7.)。
5. 应用腺管分离法分析了胃癌的LOH与临床病理学表现的关系。结果提示,在肠型和实体型胃癌3p14, 4p15, 5q21-22, 9p21, 13q22 and 18q21的LOH同癌的发生有关,而1p36、8p11-12、17p31.1和22q13.31的LOH同肿瘤的进展有关(Jiao YF, Sugai T, Habano W, et al. Clinicopathological significance of loss of heterozygosity in intestinal- and solid-type gastric carcinomas: a comprehensive study using the crypt isolation technique. Mod Pathol. 2006;19:548-55.)。
6. 在世界上首次提出并证实了大肠锯齿状腺瘤同时存在增生和终末分化过程,而大肠锯齿状腺瘤独特的锯齿结构是由终末分化引起的 (Jiao YF, Nakamura S, Sugai T, et al. Serrated adenoma of the colorectum undergoes a proliferation versus differentiation process: new conceptual interpretation of histogenesis. Oncology,2008 in press)。
